Once you have completed it you can take the test on demand and will receive instant results, certification as well as a free resit if required.

Course Objectives

On completion of this course learners should be able to demonstrate a knowledge of:

  • The hazards associated with Manual Handling in the workplace
  • The controls in order to prevent & reduce these hazards
  • Safe handling and lifting techniques

Important

It is important to remember that although training can raise awareness of risks, it won’t ensure safe manual handling on its own. Employers should first design manual handling operations to be as safe as reasonably practicable, and monitor and review procedures to make sure workers understand and apply them.
