(i) This course does not “qualify” you to inspect / check Fire Doors, but does provide a knowledge base for the process, and the associated legal requirements.

(ii) The required level of Fire Safety training / awareness within your specific workplace / building is determined by the Responsible Person completing a suitable and sufficient Fire Risk Assessment.

(iii) All Fire Risk Assessments are different and different buildings will come with different Hazards, Risks & required Control Measures. An individual’s Fire Safety competency will depend on individual assessment, which should be completed by the Responsible Person prior to assigning any Fire Safety responsibilities.

(iv) This course is designed to provide knowledge about the need for, checking, and maintenance of Fire Doors, and Health and Safety Training 1st accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to persons or equipment from its application or interpretation.
