  • The legislation & HSE guidance related to Abrasive Wheels
  • Hazards & risks associated with the use of Abrasive Wheels
  • Control measures to ensure safety whilst using Abrasive Wheels

(ii) All sites are different & will come with different Hazards, Risks & required Control Measures. An individual’s competency to use Abrasive Wheels will depend on individual risk assessment, which should be completed prior to assigning any responsibilities.

(iii) An individual’s competency to use Abrasive Wheels will depend on individual competency, which should also consider the nature of the site / building, the work being completed & their specific assigned responsibilities in comparison to previous experience.
