(i) A Site Supervisor / Team Leader should be competent to complete their job, this means that they should have the necessary knowledge, training & experience. This course aims to provide the knowledge required but a person’s competency should also depend on their individual experience & training.
(ii) The required level of training / awareness for Site Supervisors / Team Leaders within your specific workplace is determined by the Responsible Person & depends upon the completion of a suitable & sufficient Risk Assessment.
(iii) All sites are different & will come with different Hazards, Risks & required Control Measures. An individual’s competency to perform the duties of a Site Supervisor / Team Leader will depend on individual assessment, which should be completed by the Responsible Person prior to assigning any responsibilities.
(iv) An individual’s competency to perform the duties of a Site Supervisor / Team Leader will depend on individual competency, which should also consider the nature of the site, the work being completed & their specific assigned responsibilities in comparison to previous experience.
